Janmashtami Puja is a sacred celebration of the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Observed on Krishna Paksha Ashtami in the month of Bhadrapada, the festival commemorates the divine appearance of Lord Krishna, who is revered as the embodiment of love, compassion, wisdom, righteousness, and divine joy. The puja is performed to seek Lord Krishna's blessings for peace, happiness, family harmony, good health, wisdom, devotion, and prosperity. The rituals include the worship of Bal Gopal (Baby Krishna), Panchamrit Abhishek, offering of Makhan-Mishri, fruits, sweets, and devotional singing.
