Akhand Ramayan Paath
About Akhand Ramayan Paath
Akhand Ramayan Path is the uninterrupted, 24-hour recitation of the complete Shri Ramcharitmanas. The epic is divided into seven kaands: Baalkand, Ayodhyakand, Aranyakand, Kishkindhakand, Sundarkand, Lankakand, and Uttarkand. Each one narrates a distinct phase and leela in the life of Lord Shri Ram. Performing this path is believed to invite auspiciousness and clear obstacles from one’s life. The ceremony begins with Gauri Ganesh Kalash Puja, led by the main panditji, who then leads the recital. A team of pandits supports him, playing the dholak, manjeera, and other instruments, and sings kirtans and bhajans in praise of Lord Shri Ram.
